Public support for and acceptance of climate measures are essential to the ability to formulate, adopt, and implement climate policy.
However, there are different perceptions regarding the level of support, and climate attitudes vary across the population.
In this analysis, the Danish Council on Climate Change maps the key characteristics of climate attitudes among the Danish population and examines the factors that influence them. Finally, the Council presents its recommendations on how to maintain and strengthen public support, acceptance and engagement in the climate transition.
