Fostering collaboration between climate advisory councils

The International Climate Councils Network supports and amplifies the work of a growing network of climate councils: 25 expert bodies officially mandated to advise their governments on climate policy.

Countries urgently need to take action, grounded in evidence, to secure a path to a sustainable future. Strengthening climate governance with effective climate councils will be critical to making that possible.

The International Climate Councils Network will be present at COP30 in Belém, Brazil alongside many of our member councils! We’ll be showcasing our members’ work, hosting a forum to encourage knowledge exchange amongst them, and meeting with stakeholders interested in strengthening climate governance.
