Climate Governance Forum

Amidst uncertainty and significant geopolitical shifts, effective climate governance is essential to protecting climate progress and ensuring that a framework is set for sustained action, investment, and public support for climate.

Climate Governance Forum

Venue: One Birdcage Walk, Westminster, London SW1H 9JJ

Time: 09:00-13:30

Join E3G and the International Climate Councils Network (ICCN) for the second annual Climate Governance Forum at London Climate Action Week (LCAW) 2026.

The half-day event will bring together 200 stakeholders from across policy, business, the law, and academia for a programme of high-level keynotes, panels, engaging roundtable discussions and networking. Lunch will be provided.

One of LCAW’s flagship events for 2026 and part of the main programme, the Forum will examine shifts in the global rule of law, the multilateral system and climate legislation frameworks, and seek to identify opportunities to strengthen climate governance around the world. We will explore innovative governance models—including climate councils, citizen assemblies, and parliamentary reforms—designed to increase democratic participation in climate policymaking and safeguard the interests of future generations.
